IN CORPO at Theatre Row
In June of 2023, Austin made their Off-Broadway debut as a part of The Assembly and Dutch Kills’ co-production of the new sci-fi folk-punk musical, IN CORPO. They took on the role of Bartleby in this zany new adaptation of Franz Kafka’s The Castle and Herman Melville’s “Bartleby the Scrivener”.
obscura at Boston Court Pasadena
After Austin’s involvement in Boston Court Pasadena’s 2022 Playwright’s Group, their play obscura was featured as a part of Boston Court’s 19th Annual New Play Reading Festival.
Twelfth Night with the Wallis Studio Ensemble
In winter of 2022, Austin portrayed the roles of Feste and Antonio in the Wallis Studio Ensemble’s production of Twelfth Night, as well as provided original music alongside fellow company member Alex Sheldon.
Grease at Musical Theatre West
Austin went back to high school in summer of 2022, playing Eugene in Musical Theatre West’s Production of Grease at the Carpenter Performing Arts Center—featuring Jackie Cox of “RuPaul’s Drag Race” as Miss Lynch and Teen Angel.
The Wallis Studio Ensemble
In 2022, Austin joined the Wallis Studio Ensemble at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts for their 2022 season. Led by renowned theatre director Madeleine Dahm, they were an ensemble-based physical theatre group with a heavy focus on devised works. Austin participated in two separate productions; RECKONING: A New Play Festival in March of 2022, and Twelfth Night in November of 2022.
Autumn Hymn
Austin released their debut single, Autumn Hymn, in 2021. A moody, folky, a cappella tune, it talks about the changing of seasons—as well as the internal changes that can follow. Available on all major streaming platforms.
Spring Awakening
In the spring of 2021, Austin served as choreographer for Texas State University’s production of Spring Awakening, directed by Tom Delbello and with assistant choreographer Kaitlyn O’Leary. The entire production was staged following COVID-19 protocols—all performers were masked and 6 feet apart at all times.
